Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyamide Angle Guide Plate Insulator for Railway Fastening Systems
Product Description
Angle Guide Plate
A plastic angle guide plate (also known as rail insulator, nylon insulator, or railway spacer) is a critical component in railway fastening systems. It is installed under tension clamps in SKL fastening systems, working together with screw spikes, plastic dowels, flat washers, and rail pads.
Key Functions
Force Transmission: The angled design guides forces from the rail into the base plate and then into the concrete, preventing screw-dowel combinations from being loaded by shearing and bending forces
Tilting Protection: The design provides additional support to prevent rail tilting
Gauge Adjustment: Different widths of angle guide plates can regulate the track gauge, allowing for ±10mm track adjustment
Electrical Insulation: Provides high electrical insulation for the rail signal system
Material Specifications
Angle guide plates are made from glass fiber reinforced polyamide (PA66/Nylon 66 with 30-35% glass fiber content).
